  • dwr6-018  These two shelters below were associated with the extremely large roasting pit just below them.  The first shelter had a window and a large amount of fire blackening on the ceiling.  The second had a possible slick at the entrance.

  • dwr6-015  The arrow in this photo points to the roasting pit.  You get a better appreciation for the size of this pit when you realize that we are about a half mile away at the time this photo was taken.  The large pit has a second smaller pit just below it that has partially eroded away.  This is the largest intact roasting pit that I have seen.
