Dry Lake 7 - Shelters and Rock Rings

  • drylake7-003 Rock Rings 1 & 2 This is one of the largest rock ring complexes in Dry Lake.  The site originally consisted of 21 rock rings (we only located 14) built on bedrock limestone.  When this site was recorded it had cultural material from the Puebloan, Paiute, and the Patayan.  This site, like the site in Dry Lake 6, was built on a terrace above a wash.
