  • kanesps7-019  At this site we found several very interesting things.  First are the three large boulders all with semi circular rock rings next to them.  These are possibly part of a sleeping or ceremonial circle and are located on the sheltered side of each boulder.  In addition to the semi circle, one of the boulders has 8 to 10 broken metates lying near its base.
  • kanesps7-023  When you are standing at the site and see the circles, the broken metates, and the rock alignment, it is not difficult to make the assumption that this is a possible ceremonial site dealing with the two rock alignments.
