At this site we found several very interesting things. First are the three large boulders all with semi circular rock rings next to them. These are possibly part of a sleeping or ceremonial circle and are located on the sheltered side of each boulder. In addition to the semi circle, one of the boulders has 8 to 10 broken metates lying near its base.
Near these boulders is what appears to be a rock alignment made up of at least 5 stones. What makes this particularly interesting is that it points almost perfectly to another large rock alignment across the valley - Kane Springs Valley 2.
When you are standing at the site and see the circles, the broken metates, and the rock alignment, it is not difficult to make the assumption that this is a possible ceremonial site dealing with the two rock alignments.
